Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Orthotic Fitter to join our team. This individual will be responsible for delivering outstanding patient care in orthotics, including fitting, evaluating, and modifying a wide range of orthotic devices. Working closely with providers and therapists. The Orthotic Fitter plays a critical role in patient outcomes, clinical quality, and operational efficiency.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Orthotic Fitter ready to take on more autonomy and work within a collaborative clinical environment. We are willing to relocate the right candidate to NC from anywhere in the USResponsibilities And DutiesIndependently evaluate patients for custom-fitted, prefabricated, and off-the-shelf orthotic devices based on clinical assessments and physician prescriptions.Ensure optimal fit, function, and alignment of orthotic devices; make necessary adjustments and modifications to enhance patient outcomes.Collaborate regularly with clinical and administrative staff and management as well as physicians, therapists, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care plans.Educate patients and caregivers on orthosis use, application, care, and safety.Maintain detailed, accurate, and compliant patient records in accordance with Medicare, HIPAA, and facility guidelines.Monitor and manage inventory levels; assist with product selection and evaluation of new orthotic technologies.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical and work environment.Stay current with evolving orthotic technologies, clinical techniques, and compliance regulations.Participate in on-call rotation as defined by company policy.Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned by leadership.Required Skills And AbilitiesAdvanced knowledge of orthotic fitting principles, biomechanical alignment, and patient care protocols.Excellent written and verbal communication and clinical collaboration skills.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality patient outcomes.Self-directed and proactive with the ability to work closely with other team members.Effective time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced clinical setting.Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care delivery.QualificationsCertification as a Certified Orthotic Fitter (COF) by ABC or BOC is required.High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in orthotic fitting and patient care, preferably in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting.Prior experience with complex or high-volume patient caseloads strongly preferred.Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation best practices.Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceVision insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time off
