Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Provide instruction in various subjects such as math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom setting that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other evaluation methods
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and behavior
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance the educational experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification/license (state-specific requirements may apply)
- Knowledge of curriculum development and educational best practices
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Familiarity with special education principles and strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Understanding of standardized testing procedures and assessment tools
- Training or experience in areas such as Montessori education, early childhood education, or autism spectrum disorders is advantageous

Pay: $58,625.00 - $61,150.00 per year
