Maintenance Technician

Job Description Role Description:We are looking to hire two people: one full-time (40 hrs.) and one part-time (20 hrs). This is an on-site role for a Maintenance Technician located in Covington, LA. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance and repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and overseeing general industrial maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include ensuring all club facilities and equipment are in excellent working condition to provide a safe and outstanding experience for our members.Responsibilities:Identifying and troubleshooting facility and fitness equipment repair on a daily basisProviding regular upkeep and maintenance of all club propertyMaintaining knowledge of facilities and following through on preventative maintenance standardsHave working knowledge in one or all of the following: roofing, mechanical equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, carpentry, and/or paintingCan identify and troubleshoot facility and equipment-related issuesAre self-directed, requiring little supervisionPossess a sense of urgency and are able to meet deadlinesDemonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timelyTroubleshoots equipment problems within the Club.Performs preventative maintenance routines as designated by the Maintenance Manager/Planner.Assists with the installation and startup of new equipment.Promotes an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork within the department and the company.Responsible for the completion of daily checks/duties in the Club.Responsible for preventative maintenance/break-fix for all building components and equipment.Covers rotating shifts on an "as needed" basis.Will assist with periodic reviews of the preventative maintenance schedules.Occasional nighttime and weekend coverage.Company Description Stone Creek Club & Spa is the premier destination for fitness, social, and lifestyle needs in the Northshore area.
