About The Job Geotechnical EngineerWhitestone Associates, Inc., a 100% employee-owned company and leading provider of environmental and geotechnical engineering and consulting services throughout the eastern US, is currently recruiting for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This is a tremendous opportunity for experienced candidates to join and contribute to the growth of a 100% employee-owned, engineering firm.We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geotechnical Engineer with 0-3 years of experience to join our team. This position involves geotechnical investigations, engineering, and on-site inspections including field investigations by means of drilling, test pit investigations and other in-field sampling methods.ResponsibilitiesConduct geotechnical investigations, including site visits, soil sampling, and laboratory testing, to assess subsurface conditions;Conduct field inspections and monitoring during construction to ensure compliance with geotechnical design recommendations and material specifications;Prepare geotechnical reports, including data interpretation, analysis, and recommendations, to communicate findings to clients and project stakeholders;Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and construction specifications related to geotechnical engineering;Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to geotechnical engineering, and apply this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;EIT certification is highly preferred;0-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, including field investigations, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analysis;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze geotechnical data;Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to clients and project teams;Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; andProfessional certifications a plus (ACI, ICC, etc.).BenefitsThe estimated range for this position is $60,000-$80,000Whitestones Employee Stock Ownership Program (offered at no cost to each eligible employee)Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceHealth & Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsTraditional & Roth 401K Plans with Company MatchLong Term & Short Term Disability InsuranceCompany-Sponsored Life & AD&D InsuranceMultiple AFLAC Insurance ProductsPet InsuranceIdentity Theft ProtectionMultiple Corporate Discount Programs
