Opportunity for academic appointment with East Carolina Universitys Brody School of Medicine, allowing for professional development and involvement in education. Procedures encompassing bread and butter GI cases, providing a varied and intellectually stimulating practice. Large referral network including over 110 physicians' practices and 9 owned hospitals, ensuring a broad patient base. State-of-the-art outpatient endoscopy center and newly renovated inpatient GI lab inclusive of 3 interventional rooms and 20 pre and post-procedure bays, equipped with modern facilities for optimal patient care. Ability to teach and be supported by the Gastroenterology Fellowship program, including 6 Fellows and residents, fostering mentorship and knowledge exchange. Fellows take first call, distributing responsibilities and allowing for a collaborative approach to patient care. Inpatient support provided by an experienced hospitalist program; GI service is a consult service, allowing focused care. Full motility study program, contributing to a comprehensive gastroenterology service.
