Description: ENTEK is seeking applications for a Program Scheduler role to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon location (relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon is required). The Program Scheduler provides critical data to management to update program and project status and impact on the overall portfolio. Scheduling includes work at the estimate level, short intervals, and program and project master scheduling. Develop work breakdown structures, resource, cost, and budget plans. Update master and subproject plans and dependencies with new information as changes occur, e.g., timelines and delays. Key Responsibilities Prepare and keep the current master program and project plans current, including monitoring and tracking for sub-project plans. Stays abreast of changes to project requirements Provide information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of the project schedule. Identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled. Evaluate actual engineering, manufacturing, assembly, installation, and commissioning progress and provide regular schedule updates. Interface with department managers, owners, and subcontractors to discuss the impact of work and resolution of problems Review project trackers weekly and communicate with supervisors when projects are off-track. Coordinate with purchasing to follow up on vendor delivery commitments. Contribute to the development of working schedules or estimating to illustrate the sequence of work activities and contract time sufficiently. Incorporate resource and/or cost-loading data into schedules as needed. Load and maintain employee vacations and company holidays into MS Project. This should also include the overall enterprise resource pool. Work with department managers to create value streams that are assigned to large projects. Assist project managers in creating short-term schedules, monitor such schedules to determine their impact on the master schedule, and help formulate actions to correct scheduling problems. Works with project team members to schedule programs and update forecasted resource utilization Provide training to departments related to scheduling as needed Working Environment The hours for this role are Monday-Friday, starting at 7:00 a.m. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear, is occasionally required to stand, walk, or sit for extended lengths of time, and requires specific vision abilities, including close, color, and focus. The job may require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, and finger dexterity. The incumbent will regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma, GED, and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. Five (5) to ten (10) years of project scheduling experience. Experience scheduling multiple projects, pulling together multiple schedules into a master schedule, and/or interfacing with other departments to manage different schedules. Experience with solving practical problems and dealing with various concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists and interpreting various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. Ability to build and maintain accurate and up-to-date complex project schedules working with multiple calendars and resources. Ability to consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance, with little or no input from other sources. Ability to work well with others across multiple departments. Ability to handle pressure and remain cool-headed. Ability to assess and resolve conflict. Ability to influence and gain support. Working knowledge of schedule systems, principles, and practices. Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen. Preferred Qualifications Project scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of computer scheduling programs (i.e., Microsoft Project,) and department computer systems Ability to work with and understand budgets, coding, labor hour performance systems and reports, and other elements of overall project monitoring.
