Quality Lead - Manufacturing

Quality Lead The Quality Lead oversees and coordinates quality control activities to ensure products meet company standards. They manage a team of quality technicians and inspectors, develop quality procedures, and collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ultimately ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to customers. Location: Austin, TX Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00P – 11:00P); 3rd Shift (11:00P – 7:00A) Duties and Responsibilities: Execute OBA inspection according to SE procedures. Conduct process audits and random inspection to boards are conducted according to SE procedures. Notify CM Quality, QA Director, and Quality Engineers for any OBA finding, Audit finding, critical/repetitive issue and follow up root cause analysis and actions from CM. Daily report about boards/units' inspection Daily report about Process Audits, including findings Support QC inspectors during urgent and overload work. Ensure handover to next shift happens for quality issues/ECO/DEV follow up/ special requirement/ email check, previous shift issues follow up. New employee training and periodic certification (including Attribute Gauge R&R) Audit QC inspectors work and ensure they follow AI/WI and train them accordingly. Verify that all IPQC monitors are being executed by CM. Conduct/lead meetings with CM to address OBA and critical quality issues. Requirements: Graduate from high school or above. At least 3 years of experience in a QC position in SMT/W.S /BOX build production at relevant industry.
