Embody our values and, together, WE WILL THRIVE.Job DescriptionMUST BE 21+ TO APPLY FOR THE POSITION!Perform accurate manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of all products to ensure compliance with company, local, and state policies and procedures and product specifications.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure the safety and efficacy of all products.Ensure daily production schedule and goals set by Management/ Supervisor are met.Maintain a high level of cleanliness of all packaging equipment, production areas, and sanitation practices concerning handling of products according to company procedures; reports any potential contamination to the Supervisor immediately.Document line inefficiencies and downtime to identify issues. Works in conjunction with others to resolve them in a timely manner.Maintain an accurate and compliant inventory management system.Accurately track all production metrics.Must be able to inspect and detect quality defects.Reporting on low inventory suppliesGeneral facility inventory overviewCoordinating packaging procedures in relation to facility complianceThe use of ladders in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations is required to sustain strict deadlines and guidelinesExecuting tasks assigned by the Packaging ManagerMeasuring, packaging, and labeling products as directed by the Packaging ManagerSafely transport products from workspace to storage areaSet up, break down, and sanitize packaging area as needed and in compliance with Company SOPsSkillsMust have great attention to detailProven working experienceExcellent time management skillsMust be able to communicate efficientlyAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsVisual acuity, depth, and color perceptionAbility to stand, squat, crawl, or twistCommitment to safety Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and suppliesAbility to work with a team and independently.Position ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Reporting on low inventory suppliesGeneral facility inventory overviewCoordinating packaging procedures in relation to facility compliancePreparing packaging rooms, materials, and tools Ensure facility sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with standard operating procedures Maintain quality control for the scope of work producedThe use of ladders in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations is required to sustain strict deadlines and guidelinesExecuting tasks assigned by the Packaging ManagerMeasuring, packaging, and labeling products as directed by Packaging ManagerCollecting samples and performing tests to ensure qualityMaintaining a sanitary work environmentSafely transport products from workspace to storage areaEnsure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and complianceJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $18-20 per hourReviews every 6 monthsHours: 6AM-5PM1 hour Unpaid Lunch BreakMonday-FridayBenefitsDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth Savings AccountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbility To Commute/relocateWarren, MI 48089: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)ExperienceManufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
