Role Description This part-time, on-site Senior TypeScript Engineer role is based in Montrose, NY. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications primarily using TypeScript. Core responsibilities will include creating responsive user interfaces, implementing best practices in code quality and performance optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting complex technical challenges. The engineer will also be involved in reviewing code, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring product alignment with user needs and company goals. Qualifications Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including knowledge of modern frameworks like React or AngularExperience with front-end development and building responsive, user-friendly interfacesStrong understanding of software development principles, testing, debugging, and optimizationComfortable with collaborative tools such as Git and familiarity with version control workflowsProblem-solving skills and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectivelyExperience leading technical discussions and mentoring junior developersBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experiencePrior experience in healthcare or educational technology is a plus
