Job TitlePlant Manager IVPosition OverviewShaw Industries is hiring a Plant Manager who is responsible for overall leadership and operational excellence at Plant 81. This role will lead and inspire the teammates in the facility to optimize plant performance through continuous improvement in all areas, including safety, environmental, quality/delivery, productivity, cost, and associate experience.ResponsibilitiesDrive results through continual improvement of plant operations: associate experience, safety, environmental, quality, cost, service, efficiency, and equipment reliabilityLead the creation and implementation of a strategy to accomplish long-range goals supporting Shaw's business outcomes; ensuring the strategic plan is understood and translated into action for all production department managers, staff, and associates through compelling communication, goal alignment, and performance managementAssure customer relationships are positively maintained through open communication and customer satisfaction needs are met with on-time and quality productsEnsure plant leadership team accountability by providing regular performance feedback, coaching, and development.Represents Shaw Industries in the community and promotes organizations goodwill and support of the local communityEnsure a safe work environment for all associates and visitors to work and all safety procedures are followedEnsure all applicable requirements for environmental compliance are met.Management of multiple manufacturing processes and shifts through proper planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executingEffective management of operational P&L or POVA’sEffective execution of key metrics that support operations short and long-term goalsEffective application of process improvement techniques (6 Sigma, Lean, Leader Standard Work, etc.)Create an environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and relentless pursuit of improvementCreate an environment that provides associates opportunities for advancement and support succession planningRequired CompetenciesDemonstrate Strategic InfluenceDrive ResultsBuild Successful TeamsLead ChangeDemonstrate Inclusive LeadershipRequirementsBachelor's degreeMinimum 4 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.Previous Plant Manager experience preferredWork Shift8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AMShaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
