We’re looking for a Controller who’s ready to step into a key leadership role and make a meaningful impact.This isn’t your standard “close the books” position.This role sits at the center of our business partnering with operations, driving job cost accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and providing the financial insight that fuels smart decisions across every project.What You’ll Own:• Lead and elevate all day-to-day accounting operations (GL, close, reporting)• Build and mentor a strong, accountable accounting team• Drive accuracy in job costing, WIP, and project financials• Strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and reduce risk• Partner with operations to bring financial clarity to the field• Oversee audits, tax compliance, and key external relationships• Improve systems, processes, and reporting to support growthWhy This Role Matters:The Controller plays a critical role in ensuring our numbers tell the true story so leadership can act with confidence and speed. In construction, financial precision = project success.What We’re Looking For:• Strong GAAP expertise and construction accounting experience• Proven leadership and team development skills• Experience with WIP reporting and job cost analysis• Ability to balance detail, compliance, and big-picture thinking• Bonus: Vista (Viewpoint), Procore, multi-state or joint venture experienceWho You Are:You’re not just technical!
