Project Engineer - Heavy Civil
Job DescriptionPosition Overview We are seeking a Project Engineer to support heavy highway and bridge projects, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams on DOT and municipal construction.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with scheduling, cost tracking, and quantity managementPrepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applicationsCoordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliersReview plans and specifications for constructability and complianceMaintain accurate project documentation and support project closeoutQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)1-5 years experience on heavy civil, highway, or bridge projectsFamiliarity with DOT or municipal construction preferredProficiency with Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar toolsWhy Join UsWork on large-scale heavy highway and bridge projectsHands-on experience with experienced leadership and field teamsCompetitive pay, benefits, and career growth opportunitiesIf you are interested in this Project Engineer role in the Cleveland area please apply!
