Job DetailsDescriptionOVERVIEW: Work independently and alongside the IT department to design, maintain, support, and monitor the IT infrastructure for Encore’s offices and job sites.Compensation for the Role: $120,000 - $150,000 depending of experiencePLEASE NOTE: this role is based full-time at our office in Lakewood, CO with some requirements for travel to other offices. No remote candidates will be accepted.General ResponsibilitiesMaintain open communication lines with all working relationshipsFollow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable are performedEarn and maintain customer’s trustUphold the core values of the organizationWork well with others to accomplish the mission of the organization and of the jobSpecific ResponsibilitiesArchitect, supervise, and participate in the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting the data, security, and voice infrastructure.Ensure availability of enterprise infrastructure that support internal employee business functions and external customer communications.Troubleshoot and remediate 3rd and 4th level support issues impacting the operation of the corporate data and voice infrastructure.Mentoring responsibilitiesServe as one of the primary points of contact for service providers and coordinate circuit design, provisioning, installation, and troubleshooting.Document the design, operation, and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures.Plan, design, implement, and continuously improve disaster recovery proceduresMaintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trendsInteract and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors, and contract consultantsMaintain the necessary project plans and documentation for system builds and modificationsMonitor systems and identify performance issues proactivelyPropose new IT services and solutions to the end users and the senior management teamRequirements analysisNetwork and systems engineeringStorage engineeringApplication infrastructureProvide input to annual business plan to support future computing requirementsProject managementInfrastructure and system testingBudgetingOther Duties As May Be AssignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systemsMicrosoft Active DirectoryAzure Active DirectoryMicrosoft Exchange ServerVMware ESXi and other virtualization technologiesFortinet firewalls and security productsKnowledge of Cyber Security Standards and Best PracticesKnowledge of industry best practicesSkill InNetworking hardware (switches, routers, WAPs)Networking protocolsVPN setup and managementSAN managementSkill in adapting to new and changing requirements, environments, and/or information.Expertise across a broad range of Microsoft Infrastructure Technologies, including but not limited to: current and future Windows Operating Systems, all components of Active Directory , Azure, Collaborative Communications and workspaces.Expertise in writing Windows Power Shell scripts for automation or maintenanceExpertise in Active Directory Domain Services including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Sites & Services and supporting infrastructure.Experience managing Microsoft Office 365 back-end infrastructure including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for BusinessBusiness writingEffective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to elicit and communicate information and achieve understandingEstablishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers, vendors, consultants, management, and employeesOrganizing work to accomplish tasksReading and writingPrioritizing and reporting to meet job needsProblem solvingTracking numbers and bits of data relevant to the work assignmentAbility ToUnder minimal supervision, work independently and make decisions on the needs of the organizationPossessing comprehensive knowledge of subject matter, handles complex issues/problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff or vendor supportProvide leadership, coaching and mentoring to junior staffPhysical RequirementsClimbingCrawlingDrivingKneelingLifting (up to 50 lbs)SittingStandingStoopingVision acuity (near and far)WalkingRequirementsThe ideal candidate will have at least eight years of experience in IT systems administration, along with relevant industry certifications such as MCSE or MCSA. A degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience is required.
