Construction Laborer

Your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will help drive project success while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry. *Duties* * Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools * Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, and finishing * Interpret construction plans and blueprints to execute tasks like rebar installation, formwork construction, and metal stud framing accurately * Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and stucco application to achieve precise results according to specifications * Install flooring, perform plastering and caulking work, and assist with heavy lifting to support various trades on-site * Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and ensure compliance with OSHA standards * Support the use of construction estimating techniques for material needs and project timelines when required *Qualifications* * Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is highly preferred * Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction tools, equipment operation, and blueprint reading are essential * Ability to interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprint specifications accurately * Knowledge of concrete forming, concrete pumping, rebar installation, and concrete finishing techniques * Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and performing heavy lifting safely * Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment * Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking * Valid experience in carpentry, metal stud framing, renovation work, or related trades is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your skills build communities!
