We are seeking a self-driven, highly motivated and detail-oriented Data and Pricing Analyst Intern to join our Supplier and Asset Management team reporting directly to the Vice President of Supplier and Asset Management. As a Data and Pricing Analyst Intern, you will assist in the investigation of Waldom current pricing model, market assessment of competitive pricing and drive recommended changes to pricing models for some of our top supplier partners. Within this analysis a successful candidate will complete market assessments, create automation for continual investigation. In addition, this role will support business decisions, identify trends, and optimize our operations to drive meaningful impact to our Sales goals. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management and analysis, work with a dynamic team, and develop skills that can be applied in various industries.Responsibilities:Lead pricing market assessments to identify opportunities where pricing strategy should be modified. Working with our Global data team, provide investment analysis that will support investment decisions while creating standards and automation to improve efficiency in analysis for future analysisData management, including data cleaning, data transformation, and data visualizationAnalyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisionsSupport the development and maintenance of databases, data systems, and data processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutionsDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholdersRequirements:Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work with large datasetsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data analysis tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with data management, data analysis, pricing analysis or business intelligenceFamiliarity with data visualization tools and techniquesKnowledge of database management systems and data modeling principlesExperience with programming languages, such as Python or RWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly rate ($18-$20 per hour, depending on experience)Ability to work at least 20 and up to 40 hours per weekOpportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and growing companyCollaborative and supportive team environmentFlexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitmentsAccess to cutting-edge technologies and toolsRecognition and reward for outstanding performanceAffirmative Action/EEO Statement:Waldom Electronics is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all applicants and employees.
