This role offers you the opportunity to develop your expertise while making a meaningful impact in your local community.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage relationships with new and existing commercial clients.Actively market a broad range of bank services to meet the needs of business owners.Negotiate loan terms and conditions within your scope of authority.Prepare and present credit analyses and recommendations for borrowing requests.Conduct credit reviews to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.Monitor portfolio performance and manage risk through ongoing analysis and accurate risk rating.Perform periodic credit reviews to maintain overall portfolio quality.Build awareness of the bank through community involvement and networking.Assist loan support staff to ensure efficient relationship management.Follow all internal policies, procedures, security standards, and government regulations.RequirementsChose a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (required).Have 2 or more years of experience in commercial credit, analysis, or business development (required).Acknowledge that an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.Preferred QualificationsProven ability to develop and manage new business relationships.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Solid understanding of local markets and client needs.Strong financial and analytical skills to underwrite and structure commercial credits.Knowledge of treasury management products and their value to business clients.Up-to-date awareness of federal and state laws and regulations related to commercial lending and appraisal guidelines.TravelUp to 10%Compensation & BenefitsTargeted starting salary range (based on experience): $99,296 – $134,342Annual incentive potentialComprehensive employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, LTD, STD, and life insurancePaid vacation time, sick time, and 11 company paid holidays401(k) with up to 4% matchTuition reimbursementBanner Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
