Right Price.Title: Project Manager - Research Strategy & Portfolio ManagementDuration: 09 months contractLocation: Foster City, CA 94404Shift: Hybrid - onsite at least 3 days per weekPosition Summary" The Research Strategy, Innovation & Portfolio Management group is seeking a talented and highly motivated project manager to manage coordination and progression of scientific research projects in a cross-functional environment." Drive research programs forward toward clinical development through effective stakeholder engagement." Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables." Support governance readiness and execution of research development milestones.Responsibilities" Responsible for starting up or managing the research-based development subteams." May help manage teams that are preparing to present their molecule at governance meeting for clinical development." Work effectively with cross-functional project teams to build and develop the team, diagnose team health and take action to address team issues." Organize new cross-functional project teams, define objectives and scope, identify tasks and milestones." Build project schedules, identify resource needs, track execution to schedule, and manage risks." Successfully manage multiple cross-functional tasks simultaneously.QualificationsEducation:" Bachelor's degree with 7+ years, or MS degree with 5+ years of relevant experienceExperience:" Experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a functional area scientist or project manager" Direct experience or strong foundation in drug development process preferred" Experience participating in cross-functional project team activitiesSkills:" Self-motivated, resourceful, and process-oriented" High technical competence" Clear and effective communication" Ability to work both collaboratively and independently" Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams) and ZoomWhy Work With Us?We believe in more than just jobs we build careers.
