Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor/Closer Location: Cincinnati, Ohio 45245 (onsite) Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year Job Description A leading mortgage division in Cincinnati is expanding and seeking exceptional talent to support various back-office mortgage functions, including Processing, Closing, Servicing, Pre-Closing, and Mortgage Document Coordination. Responsibilities Perform quality control of loans in Encompass and manage boarding of loans to IBS Ensure proper follow-up and filing of original loan documents (Note, recorded Mortgage, Title Policy, and Assignments) within prescribed timelines to complete collateral files Track and follow up on recorded mortgage documents, including corrections and re-recording as needed Ensure timely follow-up on final title policies and any required corrections Assist with follow-up on corrective documentation sent to borrowers and/or settlement agents Support preparation and submission of external home equity subordination requests Review title work provided by applicants' settlement agents Communicate with settlement agents to obtain missing documentation Clear mortgage commitment conditions Coordinate and schedule loan closings with applicants and settlement agents Verify that the proposed mortgage will constitute a valid first lien Order and review appraisals, titles, and updates of flood certifications (if expired) Run applications through automated underwriting systems (DU and LP) and review results Communicate internally regarding required applicant documentation Verify accuracy of received information and update Encompass accordingly Review income documentation (pay stubs, tax returns, etc.) Upload tax returns to LoanBeam for income calculation of self-employed borrowers Organize and assign documents appropriately within Encompass Review and prepare completed files for submission to underwriting Manage an assigned pipeline of loans Collaborate with Home Loan Consultants (HLC) to identify solutions while maintaining credit quality Maintain accurate loan records, including activity updates and comments Request verifications (VOE, VOD, VOM, etc.) as needed Provide internal status updates on loan applications Verify data as per Data Verification reports Experience Required 2+ years of mortgage experience, preferably in back-office retail mortgage operations Familiarity with conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan programs Experience reviewing income, credit, asset, and appraisal documentation Understanding of federal and state lending regulations Ability to ensure compliance with investor and company guidelinesDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
