HAVE Support is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) (or qualified Delegating Nurse) to provide nursing services to individuals receiving Maryland DDA services under both traditional and self-directed service models. This role requires travel throughout multiple counties in Maryland and offers flexible scheduling in a mission-driven organization.
The Nurse will support participants by completing required DDA nursing tasks, health monitoring, training, and coordination to ensure safe, compliant, and person-centered care.

Travel required based on participant needs
Key Responsibilities
Complete DDA-required nursing tasks for participants in traditional and self-directed services
Conduct Nursing Assessments (including HRST review and follow-up)
Develop, implement, and maintain Nursing Care Plans
Perform Delegation Nurse (DN) duties, including:
Nurse delegation
Training and oversight of unlicensed staff
Ongoing monitoring and re-delegation as required
Provide medication oversight, health education, and clinical consultation
Coordinate with CCSs, Support Brokers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Ensure compliance with DDA, Medicaid, COMAR, and LTSS requirements
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and reports
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care coordination
Respond to health-related concerns and follow up as needed
Qualifications
Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (required)
Eligible to serve as a Delegating Nurse under Maryland regulations
Experience working with individuals with:
Intellectual and developmental disabilities
Complex medical needs
Knowledge of Maryland DDA nursing requirements (preferred)
Experience with self-directed services and vendor-based models (preferred)
Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a mobile caseload
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel across assigned counties
