Job DescriptionJob Title: MillwrightLocation: Kansas City, Kansas (De Soto, Olathe, Kansas Area)Job Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $28-$32per hour (DOE)Per Diem: $100 per day (must meet requirements)Schedule: 55-60 hours per week, most Saturdays are required.Duration: 18 month projectPosition Overview:We are seeking skilled and motivated Millwrights to join our team in the Kansas City, Kansas Area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for machinery installation, maintenance, and repairTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsSafely operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining toolsPerform routine maintenance, including equipment alignment, calibration, and inspectionsAssist with machinery setup, breakdowns, and relocations as neededCollaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects on scheduleWork flexible hours, including overtime, some Saturdays, and occasional holidaysQualifications:Completion of a recognized Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent hands-on experienceStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentationSolid mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skillsExperience using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machining toolsPhysically capable of lifting, bending, climbing, and performing demanding tasksStrong communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to undergo pre-employment drug screeningOSHA 10 certification (required)Meet Your RecruiterCraig HoltRecruiter309-223-4290craig@industrialtradeservices.com
