Youll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentists shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible./ppResponsibilities/pulliWelcome customers in the dental office/liliPrepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort/liliSelect and set up instruments, equipment and material needed/liliSterilize instruments according to regulations/liliAssist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry/liliUndertake lab tasks as instructed/liliProvide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions/liliKeep the dental room clean and well-stocked/liliSchedule appointments/liliMaintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures/li/ulpSkills/pulliProven experience as dental assistant/liliKnowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods/liliUnderstanding of health safety regulations/liliAbility to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus/liliGood computer skills/liliExcellent communication and people skills/liliAttention to detail/liliWell-organized and reliable/liliHigh school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred/liliAdditional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)/li/ulpIf you are a team player with a passion for dental care, we would love to hear from you./p/div
