This isn't just about "doing the books"—it's about staying on the cutting edge of US GAAP, providing strategic transaction advisory, and delivering best-in-class technical analysis. You have a passion for technical accounting and, more importantly, an ability to translate that passion into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Advisory: Conduct and document insightful research of non-routine accounting transactions to conclude on the appropriate application of US GAAP beyond auditor reproach.Subject Matter Expertise: Provide technical support for high-impact areas including contracts with customers (ASC 606), debt, M&A, divestitures (including transition services), derivatives, capitalized software, leases, and contingencies.AI & Innovation: Leverage the Company’s suite of AI-driven tools and automation platforms to streamline research workflows, enhance reporting throughput, and optimize the team’s overall productivity.Global Guidance: Provide technical guidance to international locations, interpreting US GAAP within the context of IFRS and other local GAAP differences.External Audit Liaison: Support the external auditor’s testing procedures for complex transactions and related internal controls over financial reporting (SOX).Regulatory Monitoring: Actively monitor FASB, SEC, and PCAOB activities to identify potential impacts and lead the implementation of new accounting standards across the global organization.SEC Reporting Support: Assist in drafting critical footnotes and disclosures for quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) filings, specifically regarding debt, fair value, and intangibles.Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a strategic consultant to Treasury, Finance, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Legal, Tax, and Senior Management.Education & CertificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (Required)CPA License (Required)Required Experience & SkillsTechnical Depth: At least 6 years of applicable technical accounting experience.
