Tasks include DO-160 qualification testing and Validation and Verification testing of electronic hardware. Preferrable candidate has experience in testing.
You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals developing state-of-the-art products for new business aviation aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on Avionics products
Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance
Assist in product certification for customer & regulatory (e.g., FAA) acceptance
Communicate non-compliance incidents to pertinent parties
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
4+ years experience in Hardware/Product Engineering
Experience in Environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification
WE VALUE
Familiarity with Product Qualification guidance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, etc.)
Basic knowledge of electronic display principles
Basic knowledge of hardware engineering standards and specifications
Experience with Hardware Verification testing
Experience with optical testing/evaluation instrumentation for electronic display characterization
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
