P/T Light Duty Specialist - 170112 2 Positions available: Building 21 light duty - Mon-Fri 5pm-8pm or 6pm-9pm Bruno building team cleaner - Mon-Fri 8pm-10pm Job Summary: Light Duty Specialists are responsible for assisting with various cleaning tasks as assigned by their supervisor to ensure a clean and healthy work environment for all employees and customers. This role primarily assists with spot cleaning as well as taking precautions for office and common area spaces by completing sanitation tasks but assists with other tasks as needed. Essential Job Functions: Empty and spot clean (when needed) all waste receptacles and replace liners Dust and spot clean all horizontal hard surfaces Spot clean office doors, doors frames, light switches, and walls to remove fingerprints and smudges Clean and polish all sinks in kitchen areas (as needed) Wipe down break room chairs Dust ceiling fans, vents, and blinds Maintain compliance with all company policies and established procedures Maintain company standards and programs for safety and security Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards with minimal supervision Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect Maintain good communication with your supervisor and other employees Provide outstanding customer service Communicate any needed supplies, repairs, safety concerns, and/or maintenance work needed to your supervisor Maintain a quality of performance of all specific duties and responsibilities assigned Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications: Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role preferred Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Good organization and time-management skills Physical Requirements: Ability to traverse work site and transport equipment used for completing job functions Ability to position self to reach areas both below waist level to the floor and above their head Ability to detect, observe, and inspect work area to identify potential opportunities and concerns.
