Production Technician I

Production Technician, MorgantonSiegwerk has an opening for a Production Technician in Morganton, NC. Our Production Technicians are responsible for combining proper quantities of materials to produce inks and bases. Additional tasks include filtering finished products into proper containers, operating production equipment and automation systems, and ensuring accurate labeling and movement of product to shipping area.ResponsibilitiesProduce UV inks and coatings, which includes following directions on the batch ticket, gathering ingredients, and building batches of ink.Make adds to the ink as directed by QC personnel.Maintain a neat and clean work area.Accurately weigh and scan each component.Deliver samples of ink to the QC lab.Perform minor maintenance functions on equipment.Participate in department meetings: safety, process improvement, operations, etc.Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and environmental processes.Other duties as assigned.Requirements6 months of manufacturing experience preferredAttention to detail.Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.Benefits:Health insurance401(k) with matchingDental insuranceVision insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth savings accountLife insurancePet InsuranceLegal Shield & ID ShieldPaid time offDisability insuranceReferral programTuition reimbursement
