Certification as OR Surgical Technician is Required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES PER AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:Assists the surgeons and nursing staff in the performance of surgical procedures.Collaborates with all members of the surgical team for the benefit of the patient.Demonstrates clinical competence in surgical technical skills, Sterile Processing, Endoscopy and Materials Management Departments.Demonstrates a superior sterile conscience through understanding of principles of asepsis and consistently maintains sterile technique.Communicates to the circulating RN and surgeons any breaks in technique.Ensures all necessary equipment is in the room prior to the start of the case.Demonstrates competency in safely operating all electro-surgical, diagnostic, video equipment, disposable equipment, as well as equipment unique to each specialty area.Specialty:NursingSub Specialty(s):Operating Room, Surgical Technologist, Scrub Technologist, OR Technologist, Operating Room / ScrubAdditional Information And Terms
