Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Technician – Supply StoreJob Description The Warehouse Technician supports efficient warehouse operations by safely handling inbound and outbound shipments, accurately managing inventory, and operating material handling equipment, including forklifts. This role works a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and focuses on loading and unloading trucks, stocking and arranging products, and maintaining accurate electronic records of inventory movements within the supply store environment.Responsibilities Use material handling equipment to load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, including trucks and small parcel freight such as UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, and DHL.Safely operate assigned material handling equipment, including forklifts, in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.Inspect all assigned equipment before use to ensure it is in safe operating condition and report any defects, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.Stock and arrange products in warehouse racks and designated locations to support efficient inventory turns and easy access to materials.Perform cycle counts to determine accurate material quantities and maintain inventory accuracy.Receive material into inventory, verify part numbers and quantities, and enter accurate data into electronic inventory records.Move material by quantity between designated locations and locate or pick material to and from warehouse locations as required.Resolve discrepancies related to material quantities, part numbers, and other inventory data fields to ensure accurate records.Locate parts while ensuring pallets are stable, pallet heights are observed, and racking, material, and equipment are not damaged.Keep aisles clear by ensuring material is stored properly and not left in walkways or traffic areas.Practice safe material handling techniques at all times to protect people, equipment, and inventory.Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Work overtime and weekends as required to support operational needs in a role designated as safety sensitive.Essential Skills Proven ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.Experience loading and unloading trucks and handling inbound and outbound shipments.Strong attention to detail when verifying part numbers, quantities, and other inventory data.Ability to perform accurate cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.Competence in using electronic systems or tools to record receipts, inventory levels, and location data.Knowledge of safe material handling techniques and warehouse safety practices.Capability to identify and report accidents, unsafe conditions, and equipment issues promptly.Ability to organize, stock, and arrange products efficiently within warehouse racks and locations.Skill in stabilizing pallets and observing proper pallet heights to prevent damage and ensure safety.Willingness and availability to work overtime and weekends as required for a safety-sensitive role.Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or supply store environment.Familiarity with handling small parcel carriers such as UPS, Federal Express, Airborne, and DHL.Experience with inventory control processes, including cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.Comfort working with basic warehouse technology or inventory management systems.Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area.Why Work Here?You will join a safety-focused operation that values accuracy, reliability, and teamwork in a structured warehouse environment.
