We're hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to run cross-functional programs across our infrastructure and data platform teams. This role blends program delivery with product sense: you'll own the roadmap for your area, set priorities, and act as the voice of the customer back into how we build.ResponsibilitiesRun infrastructure programs end to end, from kickoff through deliveryOwn the roadmap for your platform area: shape the strategy, sequence the work, and make the prioritization callsDrive data platform migration and modernization work, coordinating across engineering, data, and platform teams to keep dependencies and timelines under controlBe the voice of the customer: partner with engineering teams across Lyft, surface their pain points, and feed that back into priorities and roadmapsDefine success metrics and adoption goals, gather and document customer requirements, and make sure what ships actually solves the problemBuild feedback loops with customer teams and turn what you hear into concrete improvementsPartner with engineering and infrastructure leads to build plans, call out risks early, and keep stakeholders alignedOwn program health: track milestones, surface blockers before they slip, and keep decision-makers in the loopUse your technical background in distributed systems and data infrastructure to ask sharp questions and build plans the team believes inShare in the team's release oncall rotationExperience5+ years in Technical Program Management or a TPM/PM hybrid roleA background in software, data, or systems engineering, enough to go deep with engineersExperience owning a roadmap: setting strategy, prioritizing across competing demands, and defining what success looks likeExperience driving data platform or infrastructure migrations: data lakes, pipelines, warehouses, or compute platformsHands-on familiarity with Databricks, Hex, or similar data platform and BI tooling is a strong plusA strong track record leading cross-functional programs with real dependencies and tight timelines, autonomously and with only high-level directionExperience owning customer relationships across engineering teams, gathering requirements, and translating their needs into roadmaps and technical specsComfortable defining and tracking success metrics and adoptionClear communicator across the stack, from engineer to VPBenefitsGreat medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolledMental health benefitsFamily building benefitsChild care and pet benefits401(k) plan to help save for your futureIn addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off18 weeks of paid parental leave. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $148,000 - $185,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
