The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The Tax Senior will play a key role in providing tax planning advice and support to our clients, while also mentoring junior staff members.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex individual, business, and real estate tax returns.Assist in tax planning and strategy development for various clients.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date on tax law changes.Mentor and provide guidance to junior tax staff.Manage client relationships and respond to inquiries regarding tax matters.Assist with tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities.Prepare and review fiduciary tax returns for trusts and estates.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Current and valid CPA license, or in pursuit of obtaining itMinimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.Experience with international tax returns.Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, and corporate tax regulations.Experience with tax software programs.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionLife InsuranceDisabilityPaid time off...and more!
