Receiving Clerk Team Member, 3rd Shift

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following.Regular predictable attendance and the ability to work overtime and SaturdaysOther duties may be assigned.Receive and unload incoming shipments, parts, and materials.Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentationInspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptlyAccurately enter receiving data into ERP or inventory management systemsLabel and tag materials according to company standards and department requirementsCoordinate with Purchasing, Quality, and Production teams to resolve discrepanciesStage and transport materials to designated storage or production areasMaintain organized receiving and staging areas to ensure efficiency and safetyOperate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safelyAssist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock accuracy initiativesMaintain proper documentation and filing of receiving recordsFollow all safety procedures and company policies, including PPE requirementsQualificationsRequired:High school diploma or GED1+ year of experience in a receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environmentBasic computer skills (data entry, Microsoft Office)Ability to read and interpret packing slips and purchase ordersStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferredExperience in manufacturing or conveyor system environmentForklift certification (or willingness to obtain)Skills & CompetenciesAccuracy and attention to detailTime management and prioritizationCommunication and teamworkProblem-solving and discrepancy resolutionAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, and liftingAbility to operate warehouse equipment safelyComfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial settingWorking ConditionsManufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperaturesRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Code of ConductIndiana Automotive Fasteners is a team environment.
