Coordinates with all manufacturing staff for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently and effectively. Assists other team members as required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities. DUTIES: Operate and maintain metal working machinery such as band saws, burn tables, drill presses and hydraulic presses Read and interpret internal work orders and supporting documentation Operate semi-automatic flame cutting equipment Select and transport metal stock to work area manually and/or using overhead crane, forklift, or wheel loader Properly and safely load and unload metal materials in machinery Complete general housekeeping and organizing of the yard and manufacturing facilities Complete material and product labeling and bundling to assist with shipping and receiving Assist welders in completing their assigned tasks Comply with company safe work practices and procedures Various other duties as required EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work with small hand tools, clamps, and grinders Previous shop experience and a mechanical aptitude would be considered an asset Forklift and overhead crane use considered an asset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Shift: 8 hour shift Day shift Ability to Commute: Sealy, TX 77474 (Required) Work Location: In person
