Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in St. Petersburg, FL

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This full-time position offers a stable, rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across pediatric and adult populations.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans based on assessment findings.Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home strategies, and techniques to support progress outside of therapy sessions.Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, educators, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in speech-language pathology.Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies, including standards established by ASHA and the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. Qualifications:Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Current Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure.Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred).CPR certification (preferred).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Previous clinical experience preferred but not required. Work Environment:Full-time position with consistent, predictable scheduling (40 hours per week).Potential work settings include hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health.
