Sr. Software Development Engineer (Ruby on Rails/Java)
For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer (Ruby on Rails/Java) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This remote role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys building consumer-facing software that delivers reliable, scalable experiences in a complex healthcare environment. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering partners to turn ideas into high-quality applications and modern services. The work will center on cloud-native development, microservices architecture, and strong engineering practices that improve both developer productivity and product stability.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $101,970 – $203,940 annually
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to develop innovative applications Use modern methodologies and open-source tools to improve development processes Transform ideas into functional software solutions in an agile environment Implement and maintain scalable microservices architecture Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and code quality Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software reliability Participate in Agile and DevOps practices to streamline development workflows
Qualifications:
