Summary (Host, Host, and Server Assistant) plays a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a delightful dining experience at Marian's Bagels in the heart of our community. This position is based in our restaurant location and is integral to upholding our values of hospitality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm welcome Assist servers in delivering food and beverages efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas Manage reservations and waitlists effectively Provide menu information and answer guest inquiries Support the takeout counter during peak hours Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations Uphold high standards of customer service throughout the dining experience. Qualifications * Proven experience as a host/host or server assistant in a restaurant setting Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Familiarity with food service operations and standards Experience with POS systems is a plus (Aloha or Micros) A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
