Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support and improve automated systems within a fast-paced manufacturing and material handling environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, system optimization, and continuous improvement to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve issues with automation and control systemsSupport conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, and related equipmentWork with PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, and motor control systemsPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsPartner with operations and maintenance to improve system performanceMonitor system metrics and recommend efficiency improvementsSupport installation, upgrades, and maintenance of automation equipmentProvide technical support and escalate complex issues when neededTrain and mentor technicians on troubleshooting and best practicesAdhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safelyQualifications & SkillsExperience with industrial automation, controls, or maintenanceWorking knowledge of PLCs and electrical systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityAbility to read electrical schematics and technical documentsExperience working cross-functionally with teams or vendorsExperience with material handling systems (conveyors, sortation)Familiarity with OSHA standards and 5S/lean practicesPrevious leadership or supervisory experienceEmployment Type & CompensationFull-Time | Direct HireCompensation: $90,000 - $120,000 annually, based on experienceApplication Period: This position will remain open until filledWork Schedule1st Shift | Monday – FridayBenefitsBenefit details have not been provided at this time.
