Drafting correspondence and responding to client inquiries on a discretionary basis. Performing client work as directed by assigned attorney(s) organizing and coordinating, on an independent basis, administrative and other resources to ensure timely project completion. Drafting, transcribing, typing, formatting, proofreading and/or finalizing legal documents, handwriting or existing documents as directed by assigned attorney(s). Working with merge documents at the direction of the attorneys; mailing/emailing documents to clients; maintaining updated contact lists. Maintaining electronic and paper files of legal documents. Stay on top of deadlines and ensure all due dates and tasks are accurately tracked and reported. Manage and schedule calendar appointments for assigning attorneys. "Who Are You?" High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of Administrative experience. Legal Assistant experience strongly preferred. Highly organized, a problem-solver and have the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication and excellent client service skills. Enjoy new challenges and can quickly learn procedures and terminology related to Business Law. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality both with internal and external documents. Possess exceptional technical skills required including knowledge of Outlook, MS Word and Adobe Professional. Available to work fully in-office, with a potential of one remote day a week. Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading, grammar, and spelling skills.
