Prepare and maintain sterile fields.Patient Care: Provide compassionate care to patients before, during, and after procedures. Monitor patient condition and assist with positioning and comfort.Quality & Safety: Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives.Team Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless procedural workflow.No Call Schedule: Enjoy a consistent schedule with no weekend call requirements.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Must have skills: Current ARRT-R (Radiography) certificationCurrent BLS certificationIR experience and procedures expertiseCommitment to obtaining advanced IR certification within 2 yearsEducation: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.Experience: Previous experience in Interventional Radiology preferred.Certification/Licensure:Current ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) certification requiredMust be certified in one of the following within two years of hire:ARRT-CI (Cardiac-Interventional)ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular-Interventional)ARRT-VI (Interventional Radiology)Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredCurrent Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) licensure through Texas Medical Board requiredSkills: Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
