Seeking a Sales Engineer with experience in automotive interior lighting or illuminated components to support growth within OEM and Tier 1 accounts across the North American market.This role is ideal for someone with an engineering background who enjoys customer interaction and can confidently bridge technical discussions with commercial objectives. The position will support customer programs from RFQ through launch while helping strengthen technical credibility and customer relationships in the U.S. market.The ideal candidate is responsive, technically capable, customer-focused, and comfortable working closely with overseas teams in a fast-paced global environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport and manage OEM and Tier 1 customer accounts throughout the sales and program lifecycleServe as the technical point of contact for customers regarding automotive interior lighting and illuminated component solutionsLead technical discussions, presentations, and application support activities with customersSupport RFQ activities through quotation, development, award, and launchCoordinate closely with overseas engineering, quality, and program teams to communicate customer requirements and drive solutionsAssist with customer relationship management and help identify opportunities for account growthConduct onsite customer visits for technical reviews, program support, and relationship developmentPrepare professional presentations, reports, and technical documentation for customers and internal teamsSupport issue resolution and ensure timely communication between customers and internal stakeholdersMonitor customer trends, competitor activity, and market developments within automotive interiors and lighting systemsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering required (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field preferred)3+ years of experience within automotive interiors, ambient lighting, illuminated components, or related automotive electronics productsStrong understanding of automotive product development and RFQ-to-launch processesAbility to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineering and commercial teamsExperience supporting OEM and/or Tier 1 automotive customers preferredStrong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skillsExperience working with global or overseas teams strongly preferredHighly responsive, organized, and proactive work styleAdditional Asian language skills are a plus, but not requiredMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipMust be able to travel internationally for training within the first few months of employment and maintain a valid passport for business travelPreferred BackgroundApplications Engineer, Sales Engineer, Product Engineer, or Technical Account Manager background within automotive suppliersExperience supporting interior systems, ambient lighting modules, LED components, HMI systems, or illuminated trim productsExisting relationships within OEM or Tier 1 automotive accounts are a plusExperience supporting customer launches and cross-functional coordination in manufacturing environments preferredWe offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
