Table WelderAs a Table Welder, you will operate laser cutting machines to produce precision-cut metal components, set up and program laser equipment, and ensure consistent part quality according to engineering drawings and production specifications. You will also manage press machines to bend and shape metal parts, operate drill presses, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently. Your role involves inspecting finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and collaborating with fabrication and welding teams to support production flow.ResponsibilitiesOperate laser cutting machines to produce precision-cut metal components.Set up, program, and monitor laser equipment ensuring clean cuts and proper tolerances.Operate press machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts.Verify angles, dimensions, and alignment using measuring tools.Operate drill presses to drill, tap, countersink, and machine holes in metal components.Perform routine machine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshooting.Inspect finished parts using precision tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings accurately and on schedule.Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety procedures.Collaborate with fabrication and welding teams to meet daily manufacturing goals.Essential SkillsProficiency in laser cutting machine operation.Experience with CNC programming.Ability to operate press brake machines.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Competence in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Additional Skills & QualificationsCapability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.Understanding of shop safety procedures and PPE requirements.Why Work Here?Enjoy opportunities for growth in a supportive environment where managers are committed to training and helping employees find their right fit. The role offers two shifts: First shift is from 6 AM to 3:30 PM, and the second shift is from 4 PM to 12:30 AM.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLATHE, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
