Occupational Therapist Location: Socorro, NM Agency: Towne U.S. LLC Pay: $2,286 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) in Socorro, New Mexico, 87801!Occupational Therapist (OT) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a collaborative therapy team within a skilled nursing facility setting. This position focuses on providing high-quality rehabilitation services to a primarily geriatric population, including short-term rehab patients and long-term care residents. The OT will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions designed to restore functional independence, improve safety, and enhance overall quality of life. This role requires strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, productivity-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and establish individualized plans of care Provide skilled treatment targeting ADLs, functional mobility, strength, balance, cognition, and safety awareness Implement fall prevention strategies and environmental modifications Recommend and train residents in adaptive equipment and compensatory techniques Complete accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, recerts, and discharge summaries Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PT, SLP, nursing, and case management Supervise and direct COTAs in accordance with state practice guidelines Maintain productivity standards while ensuring patient-centered care Ideal Candidate: Active OT license in practicing state SNF or geriatric experience preferred Strong clinical reasoning and time management skills Comfortable managing both short-term rehab and long-term care caseloads This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who is passionate about geriatric rehabilitation and committed to driving meaningful functional outcomes in a team-oriented environment.  About Towne U.S. LLCTowne U.S. is a proud member of the Towne Family of Companies, which has been building community and opportunity since 1991.
