Lead E-Commerce Developer (Full-Stack, React/Next.js, Java)

Base pay range$180,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr OverviewWe are seeking ahands-on Lead E-Commerce Developerto set technical direction and guide a team of engineers. The right candidate has10+ years of full-stack experience , with mastery ofReact/Next.js and Java , and proven architectural vision. You’ll be responsible for driving modernization efforts, overseeing code reviews, and contributing directly to development while elevating the team around you. ResponsibilitiesLead technical direction for full-stack e-commerce platform development. Define and enforce architectural standards for scalability, maintainability, and security. Guide a team of 7–8 engineers through mentorship, code reviews, and best practices (no direct reports). Ensure clean, efficient, and well-tested code. Drive modernization initiatives, includingmulti-tenant architectureandlegacy system retirement . Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Maintain a healthy balance betweennew feature deliveryandtechnical debt management . Requirements10+ yearsof full-stack development experience (under 8 years considered too junior). Strong proficiency inReact and Next.js(required). Experience withmicroservices architectureand high-transactional platforms. Proven track record oftechnical leadership, architecture, and mentoring . E-commerce experience (preferred, not required).
