SupervisorTRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking to fill a Supervisor position in Corinth MS. This is a first shift job and the pay is $22.50 per hour.Overall PurposeThe Supervisor trains, develops, and motivates work group members to achieve required production results, improve each individual group member's technical skills and abilities, and promote teamwork while satisfying the company's goals and needs in an effective manner. Ability to travel on a flexible schedule as needed with variable lengths of time and distances.Reports toSite Manager, Area Manager, Director of Operations, General ManagerResponsibilitiesClient Relationship & Business DevelopmentSupervise the planning and execution of daily activities including current operations, customer requests and new projectsMaintain required productivity and quality levels, implementing improvements when possibleInsure the techniques for determining non-conforming product are accurate, meeting customer requirements and maintaining proper material flowAssign daily workloads to insure the work is completed in a timely mannerMaintain company policies and procedures in accordance with directives from managementInterface with the customer in a professional manner and implement customer feedback into daily operationsCommunicate inspection status and requirements to customers and employeesInsure the techniques for determining non-conforming product are accurate and repeatableMaintain company databases by adding new part procedures and editing existing proceduresProvide on-the-job training when needed, mentor and supervise workersComplete other duties and/or responsibilities as assignedOrganization & ManagementThis position does include supervisory responsibilitiesTechnicalProficient in performing inspection activities and competent to perform all line job functions as needed to assist in meeting production scheduling and customer requirementsDemonstrated knowledge of visual and mechanical inspection techniques and processesDemonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communicationsOperating level proficiency using MS Office Suite application programsDemonstrated proficiency interfacing with various levels of staff and management, while working in a fast-paced environmentComprehension level knowledge and demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawingsComprehension level of FIFO material flow applicationsComprehension level knowledge of Zero Defects and similar quality practicesOtherAny other duties as assignedKnowledge, skills, abilitiesHard skills - Values & attitudesDetailed Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the details of a project or task.
