Key Account Manager
The Key Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and expanding relationships with the company’s most strategic and high-value clients. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning transportation and warehousing solutions with their long-term business objectives. The Key Account Manager drives account growth, ensures service excellence, and plays a critical role in retaining and strengthening key partnerships.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Own and manage relationships with top-tier accounts, acting as the senior point of contact and escalation lead.Develop deep understanding of each client’s supply chain strategy, business goals, and operational challenges.Build and execute strategic account plans focused on retention, growth, and long-term partnership development.Lead executive-level engagement with client and internal stakeholders.Proactively identify opportunities to expand services across transportation and warehousing.Partner closely with internal leadership, operations, and solutions teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.Anticipate risks, resolve complex issues, and ensure client satisfaction at all levels of the organization.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.7–12+ years of experience in key account management within transportation, logistics, or warehousing.Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and delivering sustained revenue growth.Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and logistics solutions.Experience engaging with senior and executive-level client stakeholders.Advanced negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.Strong business acumen with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.High level of accountability, ownership, and decision-making capability.
