Manager of Business Development
We are seeking a Manager of Business Development to lead and develop the Business Development Center team responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating high-quality B2B sales leads. This role will oversee Business Development Specialists within the Business Development Center and work closely with Sales and Marketing to build a strong outbound pipeline that supports franchise growth and enterprise sales efforts.The ideal candidate is a hands-on outbound sales leader with experience managing teams in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. This person will coach, develop, and inspire the Business Development Center team while continuously improving prospecting strategy, performance, and technology use.What You'll DoLead, coach, and support the Business Development Center team to achieve daily activity goals and appointment targetsPartner with Marketing to align campaign strategy, messaging, and lead qualification criteriaDevelop and deliver coaching on outbound prospecting, objection handling, positioning, and appointment settingCreate tailored outbound prospecting playbooks for the Business Development Center based on service offerings and campaignsManage and improve the tools used by the Business Development Center, including CRM, sales engagement platforms, intent data, AI tools, and call technologiesAnalyze campaign and call center performance, prepare reports, and use data to improve resultsTrack key metrics such as conversion rates, email engagement, call effectiveness, and pipeline attributionBuild strong relationships with franchisees to support lead generation and business growthManage budget, forecasts, and revenue tracking to help ensure goals are met or exceededWhat we're looking for5+ years of success leading inside sales or business development teams in a B2B environmentStrong experience with outbound sales strategies and enterprise prospectingProven ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales professionalsExperience evaluating and implementing prospecting technologies such as CRM systems, sales engagement tools, intent data, AI tools, and call technologiesProficiency with Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Microsoft Office Suite; Power BI or other analytics tools is a plusStrong communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skillsData-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvementFranchise industry experience is highly desirableBenefitsCity Wide Franchise offers a competitive compensation structure to include bonus and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, PTO, and 401k.
