This role plays a critical part in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all personnel and visitors.Greeting and assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with badge issuance and access-related inquiries.Verifying identification and authorization in compliance with security protocols.Maintaining accurate records and documentation of access control activities.Collaborating with security and facilities teams to resolve access issues promptly.Working and collaborating with helpdesk and badge office teams.Supporting customers in person, via phone, and email communications.QualificationsClearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, for access to classified information. Ability to obtain TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.Minimum of high school diploma with two years of experience, or a combination of equivalent experience and training.Experience in professional writing, editing, and document production required.Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under stress, despite numerous interruptions.Accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems.Must be an effective leader with excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone, and in writing.Must have strong multitasking skills.Must have strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and interaction with customer portals; advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.Experience authoring responses to statements of work, staffing plans, past performance sections, management plans, and executive summaries.Beneficial skills: Microsoft SharePoint, Visio, and Project; Adobe software including Acrobat Professional and Creative Suite Federal; DoD contract experience; some U.S. Government acquisitions experience; experience working with government contract vehicles including ID/IQs and Multiple Award Contracts (MAC); knowledge of proposal preparation, contract or pricing functions, contract administration principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies.AbilitiesExposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.Sitting for extended periods of time.Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.Finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.Communicate information and ideas verbally so others understand.Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.Identify and understand the speech of another person.J-18808-Ljbffr
