Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Systems Administrator I to support the daily operations and maintenance of IT systems at our Panama City, FL location. This entry-level position is ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience with system administration in a secure, mission-focused environment. The ideal candidate will assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining both hardware and software systems while supporting cybersecurity best practices and end-user needs. Responsibilities Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and network devices. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Apply system updates, patches, and security configurations as directed. Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with security policies. Support help desk operations and respond to basic technical support requests. Assist in performing backups, data recovery, and routine system checks. Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Maintain compliance with security and operational policies. Collaborate with senior administrators and IT staff to resolve technical problems and improve system performance. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. JOB REQUIREMENTS Systems Administrator Requirements: Citizenship & Clearance U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Security Clearance. (Preferred) Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. Experience: 0–2 years in systems administration or IT support (internships/co-ops count). Technical Skills: Basic Windows and/or Linux server administration. Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking concepts. Understanding of cybersecurity principles. Soft Skills Strong troubleshooting and customer service. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Willingness to learn and support off-hours/on-site work. Certifications (Preferred) CompTIA A+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications.
