Revenue Cycle Management Manager

Revenue Cycle Manager The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for all duties listed below. The position requires coordination with clients, executive staff and RCM staff for the revenue cycle management performance reporting.Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lead and supervise revenue cycle staffProvide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance oversight for billing, coding, collections, and reimbursement teams.Ensure staff adhere to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices across the full revenue cycle.Monitor and report staff productivityDevelop, track, and analyze productivity metrics for all revenue cycle functions.Prepare regular performance dashboards and present findings and suggestions for improvement to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management and the CEO. Course correct as necessary with staff between reporting intervals.Optimize revenue cycle processesIdentify workflow gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement across charge capture, claims submission, payment posting, and denial management.Implement process enhancements that improve accuracy, reduce days in A/R, and strengthen cash flow.Ensure compliance and quality standardsOversee adherence to payer guidelines, coding standards, and internal quality benchmarks.Conduct routine audits and provide corrective action plans to maintain accuracy and compliance.Collaborate with executive leadershipServe as a key liaison between revenue cycle operations and executive leadership.Provide strategic insights, trend analysis, and recommendations that support organizational financial goalsQualificationsApplicant must have a minimum of five years of experience in insurance reimbursement, account collections, coding, and medical terminology.Candidate should be advanced in using eClinicalWorks productsMust have excellent customer service skills.High school diploma or equivalent required.CPC certification and/or CPB certification preferredPrevious managerial experience necessaryCompetenciesAccountability and Result - Assuming responsibility for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing excellence standards rather than waiting for others to impose or enforce them.Client Focus - Anticipating, understanding, and fulfilling customer needs and expectations by providing excellent direct and indirect service.Coaching - Managing people, process, and/or projects by providing guidance and direction to others in a way that not only accomplishes results but earns/gains respect.Manages Change - Guiding, directing, and inspiring a continuum of change and transformation initiatives.Problem Solving - Using problem analysis skills to identify and define issues for resolution and choosing optimum courses of action.Productivity - Ensuring efficiency requirements are met even in the face of time or resource restrictions.Quality Focus - Assuring quality standards are met within appropriate specifications by accurately checking process and tasks over time.Physical demandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
