Job DescriptionPrecision Electrical AssemblerLocation: Wixom, MI 48393Pay Rate: $24.00 – $29.00 / hourEmployment Type: Direct Hire / PermanentTravel Requirements: Up to 25%Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Precision Electrical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble high-precision mechanical and electrical components used in CNC milling and turning machines. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in electromechanical assembly, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work with tight tolerances and complex schematics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical AssemblyInstall and route wiring harnesses, control panels, terminal blocks, and electrical enclosures.Connect and terminate wiring for motors, sensors, encoders, and control systems according to wiring schematics and diagrams.Perform continuity testing and insulation resistance checks to verify proper electrical connections.Assemble and mount CNC control units (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi) into machine cabinets and enclosures.Documentation & Quality ControlRead and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality checklists.Inspect completed assemblies to ensure full compliance with company and industry standards.Maintain accurate records of work performed and components used.Collaboration & SafetyPartner closely with engineering, quality control, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues promptly.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures related to mechanical and electrical assembly.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical certificate or Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.Experience: 2+ years of precision mechanical or electrical assembly experience (CNC or industrial equipment experience preferred).Technical Skills:Proficiency with standard hand tools, electrical crimping, soldering, and wire stripping techniques.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.Familiarity with multimeters, torque tools, calipers, and micrometers.Basic understanding of CNC machine operation and components is a plus.Core Competencies: Strong manual dexterity, exceptional attention to detail, and effective verbal and written communication skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.Stand or sit for extended periods.Perform repetitive tasks requiring precise manual dexterity.Occasional bending, kneeling, and reaching.
