Job Description Reporting to the Team Leader, the Laborer is responsible for assisting in the preparation of vehicles for salvage, using mobile crushing equipment. Sorting different types of metal based on their characteristics Use torch to cut metal Work with different types of machinery (forklift) Shovel Keep worksite clean Help load and unload vehicles Offer excellent customer service Contribute to any other tasks related to the operations of the site Qualifications Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment inside/outside of the shop Knowledge of metals (an asset) Work experience with forklift and/or valid license to operate a forklift (an asset) Willingness to wear personal protective equipment Comfortable using a computer and Microsoft Office is an assest Required competencies: Health and safety awareness Good physical condition Resourcefulness Attention to detail; ability to do repetitive work Punctuality and diligence Capacity for teamwork Additional Information Full-time and permanent position Overtime available What we offer: ON-SITE TRAINING!
