Construction Estimator

About Us: We are a fast-growing commercial general contractor seeking a motivated Senior Construction Estimator to join our team. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with contractors, vendors, and labor partners. You’ll have the chance to step into a high-impact role, gain visibility with leadership, and play a key part in shaping the future of our estimating department.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and estimate project budgets by thoroughly reviewing plans and specifications.Develop detailed scopes of work based on plans, specifications, and project requirements.Apply working knowledge of CSI divisions (1–16) in all estimating processes.Prepare conceptual budgets using quantity take-offs and historical data.Analyze subcontractor proposals and scopes to ensure alignment with project requirements.Draft and submit RFIs while maintaining communication with architects, engineers, and other professionals.Perform accurate quantity take-offs; proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff is a plus.Skills & Qualifications:Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Procore experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.Skilled in scoping construction trades and understanding project requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.Familiarity with local vendors and contractors is advantageous.Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience.At least two years of relevant construction estimating experience preferred.Compensation & Benefits:We offer a competitive salary along with an attractive benefits package, including:Performance-based bonuses awarded upon project completion for on-time delivery and cost efficiency.Employer-paid health insurance with dental and vision options.Supplemental benefits available.401(k) with employer match after six months of employment.Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.Location: West Palm Beach, FLAPPLY TODAY!!!
